Early morning, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Nagpur.

Arrive Nagpur airport and straight drive to Pench National Park (2-3Hrs approx.).

Pench National Park, a total of 758 Sq. km of this Southern Indian tropical moist deciduous forest has its extent mingling with the tropical dry deciduous teak. The area is crisscrossed by a number of streams and ‘nallahs’ most of which are seasonal. Though the Pench River dries up in April end, a number of water pools locally known as ‘dohs’ are found which serve as watering holes for the wild animals. The Pench Reservoir at the center of the park is the only major water source during the pinch period.

 

Following Lunch, proceed for the afternoon jeep safari inside the park. Overnight Pench.

Explore rich wildlife in morning and afternoon jeep safaris to the Pench National Park while meals and overnight stay are arranged at your hotel.

In Pench, Cheetal, Sambar, are commonly seen grazing on the open sites on roadsides and banks of river & and reservoir. Jackals can be seen in search of food anywhere in the Park. Packs of up to 15 or more wild dogs can be seen near Chhedia, Jamtara, Bodanala and Pyorthadi areas of the Reserve. Herds of gaur can be spotted near streams and bamboo patches commonly in summer months. Sloth bear beer occupies the rocky areas and prefers favors mahul bel infested forest. You will also find Chinkaras present in very small numbers in open areas around Turia, Telia, and Dudhgaon villages.

The best place to view tigers is the watering holes as prey concentration is high along the Pench River. Tigers usually hunt for their prey here. Leopards generally operate in the peripheral areas but are occasionally seen in the deep forest also. Jungle cats are commonly seen. Leopard cats, small Indian civets, and palm civets are seen rarely. Overnight Pench.

Later check out and drive to Kanha National Park (210Kms / 4-5Hrs approx.).

 

Spread across 940 sq.km, Kanha National Park is one of the largest parks in Madhya Pradesh where the majestic royal Bengal tigers are found in good numbers and you also get to spot Bison roaming freely in their natural habitat.

 

The Park is respected globally for saving the Barasingha from near extinction. No doubt, it is one of the best managed parks in Asia and a part of Project Tiger. National Geographic's award winning 'Land of the Tigers' was shot here, but the park is home to leopards, wild dogs and Barasingha as well. A safari in Kanha will surely get you thrilled, the way you were on your first trip to the zoo, as a child.

Kanha National Park is a home of endangered species of like tiger, leopard, bison, gaur and deer species which include barasingha, blackbuck, spotted deer, swamp deer, sambar, four-horned antelope, mouse deer, and barking deer. Other animals like fox, hyena, honey badger, Indian wolf, sloth bear, wild boars, jungle cat, langurs, and macaque also resides here. Reptiles like python, cobra, and vipers are easily seen here. The tropical environment of Kanha Reserve is simply outstanding haven for bird watching. The bird lovers can surely find wide ranges of over 300 species of birds. Storks, teals, pintails, herons, egrets, Peafowl, jungle fowl, partridge, quail, eagle, kites, vultures, owls, owlets and night jar are commonly seen.

After lunch, check out and drive to Bandhavgarh (280Kms / 6Hrs approx.).

 

Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve located in the Eastern Satpura hill range. The name originates “Bandhavgarh” means (Bandhav - Brother and garh - Fort). This fort was built by Lord Rama and brother Lakshman kept a watch on Lanka from here, as mentioned in Narad Panch Ratna and Shiva Sanhita Puran. This tiger reserve is known for healthy population of tigers and variety of herbivores. This area is unique from the point of biodiversity, as it comprises hills, valley, rivers, marshes and meadows. Apart from tiger, as many as 34 species of Mammals and nearly 260 species of birds and 70 species of butterflies have been listed.

 

Arrive Bandhavgarh, check in and spend rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight Bandhavgarh.

Explore Bandhavgarh National Park

You will be taken on jeep safaris in the morning and afternoon to the national park. The Park is mainly known for its dense tiger population. This is the place where the famous White Tigers of Rewa were discovered. The other wild attractions in the park include Leopards, Blue Bulls, Indian Gaur (Bison) Chausingha (Four Horned Antelopes), Spotted Deers, Sambar Deer, Wild Boar, Sloth Bears Fox, Jackals, Wild Dogs, etc. There are at least 22 mammal species and about 250 bird species in the park. The other animals found in Bandhavgarh are Ratel, Porcupine, Small Indian Civet, Palm Squirrel, Lesser Bandicoot rat, the Jungle Cat, and the shy Hyenas. The reptile population in the park includes Cobras, Kraits, Vipers, Rat snakes, Pythons, Monitor Lizards, and turtles. The two-primate species including the rhesus macaque and the Hanuman langur inhabit Bandhavgarh.
